Production Operator

About JRM Products Limited

JRM Products Limited is a family-owned enterprise established in 1992, located in Haddington, East Lothian. We specialize in providing tailored services to the brewing sector. Initially an offshoot of a prominent brewery in Edinburgh, we have evolved to efficiently process hop products into iso-alpha acids, which are packaged appropriately for the beer brewing process. Furthermore, we transform these iso-alpha acids into additional downstream products utilized in brewing, distributing them globally for beer production.

Position Summary:

We are in search of a Production Operator to fulfill essential functions within our operations. As a Production Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with team members to meet the daily production, packaging, and product movement requirements;
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining the expected standards;
  • Following quality system procedures and accurately documenting all necessary production and packaging records;
  • Maintaining the facility and packaging machinery;
  • Ensuring that production, packaging, and storage areas are kept clean and compliant with hygiene standards;
  • Interacting with external stakeholders in a courteous, efficient, and helpful manner.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to their work, practical skills, effective communication abilities, and a dedication to product safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in a production or warehousing setting (preferred)
  • Forklift certification (preferred)
  • Motivated and driven
  • Respectful and considerate

Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.

What We Offer:

This position is structured for 5 days a week within the production unit at JRM Products Limited. Standard working hours are 8am to 5pm (with some flexibility). The annual remuneration for this role is £28,000.00, with opportunities for progressive salary increases.
