Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Research Administrator to join our team at UK Biobank. As a key member of our epidemiology team, you will provide administrative support to our researchers and contribute to the development of our research programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scientific reviews of research applications and annual reports to ensure compliance with our research protocols.
  • Provide scientific advice to researchers on the conduct of studies and the availability of data and samples.
  • Maintain up-to-date databases of publications and other research outputs.
  • Support the development of new research programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our senior stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of our research projects.
Requirements
  • A degree or higher degree in epidemiology, statistics, or a related field.
  • Significant relevant experience in epidemiology, with a strong understanding of epidemiological concepts and study design.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality researcher support and customer service in a fast-paced administrative environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet business demands.
