Communications Lead

UK Biobank is seeking a skilled Communications Lead to join our team and play a pivotal role in nurturing an engaged and well-informed network of researchers. As part of our Communications team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering dynamic content that showcases the groundbreaking research made possible by UK Biobank's data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategy to engage researchers, build a community, and ensure users are well-informed and supported.
- Create relevant, inspiring, and engaging marketing communications content through various channels, including social media, webinars, and events.
- Showcase research and researchers, data and platform developments, training, and UK Biobank team members.
- Help users develop their skills and nurture champions from across geographies and scientific fields who will be public advocates for UK Biobank.
- Develop a calendar of email marketing campaigns and ensure all information is conveyed in a clear, concise, accessible, helpful, and friendly manner.
- Analyse metrics to assess success and inform strategy for each channel.
Requirements:
- Experience of driving sustained engagement amongst technically-minded audiences.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams to design and create engaging multi-format marketing content.
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to clearly convey complex information in a friendly manner.
- Assessing success of campaigns or projects and able to demonstrate how that influenced future work.
