Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs Director to lead our Global Medical Affairs team in the Hematology therapeutic area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing medical affairs strategies to support our priority programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Medical Affairs Strategy: Lead the development and execution of medical affairs strategies for Hematology priority programs, including research, population health, innovative partnerships, and integrated evidence plans.
  • Co-Develop Plans for Evidence Generation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop plans for evidence generation, medical education programs, scientific publication planning, and Medical Expert network development.
  • Co-Own Innovative Education and Scientific Communication Plans: Co-own the development and implementation of innovative education and scientific communication plans for external stakeholders.
  • Financial Tracking and Compliance: Ensure timely and cost-effective development and execution of medical activities, and ensure compliance with company policy guidelines and highest medical quality standards.
  • Represent GMA with Internal and External Audiences: Represent the Global Medical Affairs team with internal and external audiences, including the investment, medical, and regulatory communities, as well as pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry collaborators/partners.
  • Provide Proactive Medical Input: Provide proactive medical input to asset lifecycle management to consider new therapeutic opportunities.
Requirements
  • MD (Preferred) or PhD/PharmD in Health Sciences
  • 5+ years in Pharmaceutical Industry experience in Medical Affairs and/or Clinical Development
  • Experience focused on studies - late studies, studies performance, and being part of Clinical Research teams
  • Experience on data and evidence generation
  • Highly preferred: experience and expertise in hematology, including launch and pre-launch activities, and clinical trials conduct
