Job Summary:

EVera Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Battery Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the on-time specification and delivery of contactors, fuses, and other devices required to electrically isolate the HV Battery systems across various electrified platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrothermal models and behavior of specified components, ensuring seamless integration into the HV Battery System.
  • Manage the release process of given components, as well as similar components provided by the same supplier, adhering to APQP, six sigma, or similar frameworks.
  • Deliver high-quality components within established quality planning, DFMEA, and PPAP frameworks, identifying and containing potential quality concerns using engineering quality systems.
  • Provide weekly program status reports as part of the Battery working group, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee the delivery of contactors, relays, pyro fuses, and current sensing devices for in-house battery developments, as well as reviewing and assessing developments provided by engineering partners.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in CAD tools, such as NX, CATIA, or similar toolsets.
  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic, or related field.
  • Experience within the automotive industry or similar domain experience.
  • Proven track record in DFMEA delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize multiple inputs into succinct summaries.
