Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Adult Services Co-ordinator to join our team at East Renfrewshire Council. As a key member of our Community Children's Services team, you will be responsible for the operational delivery and strategic direction of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operational delivery of our Community Team, Intensive Family Support, and Request for Assistance service.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and families.
  • Develop and implement targeted interventions within our integrated model of health and social work.
  • Support colleagues in the development of initiatives, plans, and policies related to high standards of service provision.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Professional social work qualification.
  • Considerable social work experience and previous supervisory experience.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
