Position Title: Assistant Coach for Women's B Team (Casual)
Department: Fan & Community Relations
Reporting To: Women's Team Technical Lead
Location: Brentford Estate
Compensation: £15.10 per hour
Role Overview:
Brentford FC is seeking a dedicated and innovative coach to join our women's team setup on a casual, part-time basis. The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach of the B Team, focusing on nurturing player development and preparing talented individuals for advancement to the first team.
The B Team competes in the Greater London Women's Football League and has recently achieved promotion to the Greater London Premier Division, with training and home matches held at a designated sports club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach with midweek training sessions and manage squad selection for all competitive fixtures.
- Encourage and develop players to enhance their performance while adhering to the club's coaching philosophy.
- Collaborate with the Head Coach to assess individual player strengths and weaknesses, providing tailored coaching and tactical guidance.
- Participate in player development review meetings throughout the season, offering insights during individual assessments as necessary.
- Support the Head Coach in the end-of-season retain and release process, working closely with the Technical Lead.
- Report any safeguarding concerns to the appropriate channels, ensuring a safe environment for all participants.
- Foster a positive team culture and address any conflicts professionally, in alignment with the club's values.
- Work in partnership with all women's team staff to achieve the club's objectives, including support for pre and post-match engagements.
- Assist with team management and administrative tasks, ensuring effective matchday operations and equipment management.
- Perform any additional relevant duties as directed by the Women's Team Technical Lead or General Manager.

- Maintain compliance with the club's Code of Conduct and relevant legal requirements.
- Build and sustain professional relationships internally and externally, representing the club positively.
- Ensure confidentiality regarding club information and personnel.
- Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion within the club, aligning with our strategic goals.
- Support initiatives that enhance mental health and well-being across the organization.
Essential Qualifications:
- FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate
- Experience in coaching or supporting adult teams
- FA Learning Safeguarding Children Certificate
- FA Emergency Aid in Football Certificate
- FA Safeguarding Certificate
Desirable Qualifications:
- UEFA C Licence Coaching Certificate
- FA Youth Award
- Experience in developing U18/U21 players
- Experience working with female adult and youth players
- Proficient IT skills
