Senior Process Engineer

A leading chemical manufacturing company in Lincolnshire is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to contribute to their team's success. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package including a double-figure pension, annual bonus, hybrid working options, private medical insurance, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide engineering expertise and guidance throughout all stages of the site capital program, from inception to completion.
- Generate design deliverables for capital project design basis, HAZOP, LOPA, and datasheets.
- Assist operations teams in ensuring the ongoing safe operation of the production plant.
- Identify prospective improvement projects in line with the company's SQLCST strategy.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of safety issues, equipment, and industry-wide standards.
- Collaborate with operators and the operations day team to commission and implement projects.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to junior members of the department while peer reviewing and approving their work output.
To be considered for this role, candidates should hold a degree, ideally be chartered, possess a minimum of 6 years' process engineering experience, and demonstrate expertise in both batch and continuous improvements, preferably in Upper Tier COMAH sites, showcasing proven knowledge of process design, calculations, specifications, and commissioning.
