About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Endurance Doors - part of Rocal Group. The successful candidate will work closely with our Business Systems Manager and management team to optimise existing software systems, identify opportunities for new software solutions, and develop, test, and implement these solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Software Development
  • Develop software solutions for internal systems, including system design, coding, and programming.
  • Test software to ensure it meets requirements and is of high quality.
System Design and Planning
  • Work with stakeholders to understand user requirements and draw up specifications for new software solutions.
  • Design and plan software systems to meet business needs.
Documentation and Collaboration
  • Write and maintain necessary documentation to ensure portability of code between developers.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective software development.
Project Management
  • Maintain a project list for active and planned projects, detailing key milestones and tracking progress.
Information Security
  • Focus on information security and security controls to mitigate security threats.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  1. Self-motivated and confident communicator with excellent internal and external communication skills.
  2. Ability to explain complex operations to non-technical colleagues and hold technical discussions with experts.
  3. Knowledge of full-stack development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node, Angular, and SQL.

Requirements

  1. Professionally qualified in your field or hold similar experience.
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

Salary circa £45,000 DOE.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: £45,000.00 per year.

Schedule: 8 hour shift.

Work Location: In person.
