Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Ensure the pub is run efficiently and effectively, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and control stock levels, inventory, and cash handling to minimize losses and maximize profits
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact the pub's performance or customer experience

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, and ability to maintain a safe working environment
