Anaesthetics Consultant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetist to join our team as a Locum Consultant in Anaesthetics. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Obstetric Anaesthesia and be able to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anaesthetic services to patients undergoing surgery, including obstetric procedures
- Participate in on-call commitments, including covering Glangwili Hospital and providing support to resident anaesthetic cover in Prince Philip Hospital
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in teaching and educational activities for junior doctors and other healthcare professionals

Requirements
- Full GMC Registration in Anaesthetics with a Licence to Practice
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) or equivalent
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree
- Experience in Obstetric Anaesthesia and a strong interest in this specialty
