Job Summary

Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) NHS Trust is seeking a Paramedic to join our team as a Return to Practice Paramedic Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to update their skills and knowledge and return to practice as a registered Paramedic.

About the Role

We are committed to providing a supportive and comprehensive return to practice program for our Paramedics. As a Return to Practice Paramedic Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a registered Paramedic and gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. Our program includes:

  • A comprehensive induction into the community service
  • Employment as a Band 4 Paramedic Assistant while undertaking supervised practice
  • Full support to update skills and knowledge to return to the HCPC register
  • Payment of HCPC registration fees on successful completion of the program
  • Substantive employment as a registered Paramedic in one of our supportive and valued teams
Key Responsibilities

As a Return to Practice Paramedic Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing therapeutic treatment programs under the supervision of a registered Paramedic
  • Working with a clinical caseload to achieve agreed therapeutic treatment objectives
  • Delivering, planning, and implementing effective and competent therapy programs
Person Specification

We are looking for a Paramedic with:

  • A recognized degree as a Paramedic with HCPC registration
  • Previous experience as a clinical Paramedic, working with physical difficulties, parents, and carers, and within a health environment
