Band 4 Return to Practice Paramedic Assistant

Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) NHS Trust is a leading provider of community health services in the UK, covering 11 London Boroughs and Hertfordshire. We have a team of over 900 Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) across seven professional groups, including Paramedics.

Return to Practice Support

We understand that returning to practice as a Paramedic can be a challenging process. That's why we're offering a comprehensive support package to help you update your skills and knowledge. Our Return to Practice program includes:

  • A £800 payment from NHS England to support with childcare, study, and travel costs
  • Employment as a Band 4 Paramedic Assistant while undertaking supervised practice
  • Full support to update your skills and knowledge to return to the HCPC register
  • Payment of HCPC registration fees on successful completion of the program
  • Substantive employment as a registered Paramedic in one of our supportive teams

Job Responsibilities

As a Return to Practice Paramedic Assistant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing therapeutic treatment programs under the supervision of a Registered Paramedic
  • Working with a clinical caseload to achieve agreed therapeutic treatment objectives
  • Delivering, planning, and implementing effective therapy programs under the direction of a Registered Paramedic

Person Specification

We're looking for a qualified Paramedic with:

  • A recognised degree as a Paramedic with HCPC registration
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Paramedic, working with physical difficulties, parents, and carers, and within a health environment
