This role is ideal for individuals currently engaged in Pool Management, Leisure Services, or Activities Coordination, who possess a strong commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction.
This dynamic position will be instrumental in spearheading a new development phase aimed at enriching the offerings for guests and property owners. The focus will be on providing a diverse range of indoor and outdoor activities, including high ropes courses, zip lines, aquatic facilities with slides, adventure golf, and much more.
The Recreation Activities Supervisor will be responsible for the effective operational management of all activities and experiences available on-site. The primary objective is to ensure an unparalleled experience for all visitors while optimizing revenue and profitability, all while adhering to stringent health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, coordinate, and lead the Leisure and Activities divisions.
- Achieve financial objectives outlined in the department's profit and loss statements and guest experience metrics.
- Recruit, retain, inspire, train, and continuously develop department heads and their teams.
- Manage all revenue streams associated with the departments.
- Control budgets for variable expenses and labor costs, while devising and implementing strategies to enhance sales year over year and meet established profit margins.
- Collaborate with department managers to set and monitor business plans and performance goals, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure the safety of guests and staff, as well as the security of all leisure equipment, chemicals, and facilities.
- Regularly assess and respond to customer feedback to enhance service delivery.
Candidate Profile:
Essential Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Proven experience in project planning and organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and persuasive skills.
- Prior experience in successfully implementing an Activities and Leisure program.
Desirable Qualifications:
- NPLQ Lifeguard certification.
- Pool Plant Operations certification.
- RLSS Trainer Assessor qualification.
- National Pool Managers qualification.
This role is suited for a proactive individual eager to take ownership of their responsibilities and advance within the industry.
