Job Title: Qualified PE Teacher (QTS) - Special Needs Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Qualified PE Teacher (QTS) to join our team at a special needs primary school for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), based in Harrow.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the physical development and well-being of pupils with complex needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering differentiated PE lessons suited to the needs of ASD and PMLD pupils, ensuring activities are engaging and inclusive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver tailored physical education sessions for pupils with ASD and PMLD.
  • Adapt physical activities to meet the diverse physical and cognitive abilities of the pupils.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to pupils with ASD and PMLD, fostering positive engagement.
Requirements:

We are looking for a Qualified PE Teacher (QTS) with a passion for supporting pupils with special needs. You will need to be resilient, dedicated, and able to inspire and lead pupils in both departments.
