EGCS Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled EGCS Superintendent to join our Maritime team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our CUK Fleet in the areas of Advanced Air Quality Systems (AAQS) and Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS).

• Provide specialist support covering AAQS / EGCS and related equipment, including gas and water monitoring systems, and other emissions abatement technologies.
• Work closely with ships teams, regulatory bodies, and suppliers to ensure operational risks are identified and managed effectively, and equipment and vessel availability is maintained to a high level.
• Optimise performance of all installed EGC systems across the CUK Fleet, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Plan, manage, and deliver complex technical projects covering AAQS & emissions abatement technology, both in-service and during docking periods.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure tasks are delivered on time and budget, while adhering to Carnival UK's core values and culture essentials.

• Degree or equivalent in a suitable Technical / Maritime discipline (Naval Architecture, Engineering, or Electrical Engineering).
• In-depth knowledge of SOLAS, Class Rules, and applicable statutory legislation.
• Sea-going experience in a cruise industry technical environment.
• Experience in management and operation of a wide and diverse range of marine maintenance aspects.
