Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technical and operational staff to deliver high-quality services to our residents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the use and benefits of our parks and open spaces.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our department's objectives.
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the team, ensuring effective partnership working and service delivery.
  • Advocate for the principles of diversity and inclusion in relation to workplace culture and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing parks and open spaces or similar services.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to achieve shared objectives.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the principles of diversity and inclusion.
