Job Summary:

Nursery People is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join its team. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management: Assume a leadership role within a dedicated room, guiding and inspiring a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
  2. Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a stimulating and innovative curriculum, ensuring alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and fostering a love for learning.
  3. Quality Assurance: Take responsibility for the overall quality of care within the designated room, conducting regular assessments and implementing improvements.
  4. Staff Support and Development: Support and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating continuous professional development to enhance individual and collective skills.
  5. Parent and Community Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with parents and guardians through effective communication, regular updates, and organized events, fostering a sense of community.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 Early Years Childcare recognised qualification.
