Location – United Kingdom
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at DSM, a leading supplier of vitamins, carotenoids, and other fine chemicals. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our Speciality Powder Mixing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Weighing, mixing, and packing of ingredients branches;
- Powder and Oil blending using semi-automated/automated mixing equipment;
- Packing of pre-blended powders into bags/boxes/sacks (up to 25kg) as required;
- Achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and personal competencies;
- Updating and maintaining documentation and records;
- Working as a team to produce and execute the weekly production plan.
Requirements
- Practical problem-solving skills;
- HACCP/good hygiene and housekeeping practices;
- Team working and collaboration skills;
- Previous production experience in a food manufacturing environment;
- Effective communication skills;
- A results-focused mentality.
