Team Overview:
The Anti-Piracy Team operates within the General Counsel's Office, focusing on the global safeguarding of Springer Nature Group's content and assets against piracy threats. The team is strategically positioned to address these challenges on an international scale.
Role Purpose:
- Oversee the collection and generation of comprehensive quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc Anti-Piracy reports.
- Utilize data insights to deepen understanding of piracy's impact on the organization.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data through best practices.
- Engage in specific anti-piracy investigations while supporting various business sectors.
- Contribute to the company's content protection initiatives.
- Maintain and enhance the Anti-Piracy Hive (intranet) resources and communications.
- Collaborate with the Head of Global Anti-Piracy in developing and executing the annual Global Anti-Piracy Strategy.
- Facilitate cross-training within the team to ensure comprehensive support for analysis and reporting tasks.
- Ensure timely production of departmental reports related to takedown activities and anti-piracy efforts.
- Analyze data from both internal systems and external providers to extract insights on piracy.
- Develop and refine regular and custom reports tailored to diverse audiences.
- Create and manage data dashboards for real-time monitoring of key metrics.
- Collaborate with business partners to enhance report relevance and utility.
- Oversee the Anti-Piracy Hive's communication strategy and liaise with senior management as needed.
- Lead and assist in complex investigations as required.
- Support the Head of Global Anti-Piracy in the strategic design and implementation of anti-piracy initiatives.
- Facilitate the development of anti-piracy training programs.
- Engage in industry meetings and contribute to relevant discussions.
- Extensive experience in anti-piracy, intellectual property enforcement, or data management within related industries.
- Strong network within anti-piracy units and enforcement bodies.
- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis, with the ability to generate insightful reports.
- Deep understanding of new media technologies and their implications for content protection.
- Knowledge of intellectual property law, particularly copyright regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant training or qualifications in anti-piracy or related fields.
- Desirable skills include proficiency in data analysis tools and familiarity with cloud computing.
