We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Support Worker at a secondary school in the Maidstone area. The successful candidate will work closely with a student who requires additional support within the school day.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one support to a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to enhance their academic and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments to identify individual students' needs and develop strategies to support their learning.
- Work collaboratively with the student's teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting the student's needs.
- Hold a Psychology degree from a recognized institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other professionals.
- Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of students with SEN.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing demands of the role.
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
