Job Summary:

Chevron Traffic Management Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Regional Commercial Manager in delivering and exceeding the budgeted performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage costs and suggest journal requests as needed.
  • Review monthly management accounts and key performance information to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and maintain data within the Company Inhouse Works Management System.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing of all work carried out within the region.
  • Manage the Early Warning and Compensation Event process as set out in the Contract.
  • Create In-Contract pricing, estimates, and quotations, and follow through to final account settlement.
  • Assist the Regional Commercial Manager with Aged Debt, cash collection, and escalation as needed.
  • Help prepare revenue reports to facilitate the preparation and publication of monthly management accounts.
  • Contribute to the overall management of commercial aspects of all contracts.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Good understanding of the NEC form of contract.
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of software.
  • Confident to work with an IT/Digital system-led solution to commercial management.
  • Understanding of management accounts and financial reporting processes.
  • Full UK driving license.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience of Temporary Traffic Management.
  • Previous demonstrable experience in quantity surveying.
