Job Title: Social Media Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Executive to join our team at Travel Republic. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing engaging content across our social media channels, with a strong focus on video content that resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop campaign strategies and execute across both paid and organic social media
  • Produce high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and marketing objectives, including promotional videos, destination features, customer testimonials, and more
  • Manage and grow Travel Republic's social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, respond to enquiries, and cultivate an active online community
  • Track and analyse performance metrics for social media content, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Identify and manage partnerships with influencers, content creators, and other brands to amplify our reach and impact
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platform updates to ensure our content remains relevant and innovative
  • Manage the daily budget for paid adverts, driving leads to the customer experience team
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working within social media or a similar industry
  • A passion for all things digital and a good eye for content creation
  • Familiar with the types of content used in social platforms and how they work for brands and businesses
  • A sound understanding of social media community management & moderation
  • Awareness of other digital marketing channels and how they integrate with social media
  • Video editing skills and a flair for creativity
  • An understanding of core principles of social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Experience using performance tools such as Facebook Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Able to provide basic levels of data analysis and reporting
  • Impeccable copywriting / blog writing skills with a high standard of spelling and grammar
  • Flexible and hard working
  • Proven ability of working to deadlines under pressure
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
  • Photoshop and SEO knowledge desirable
  • Design skills desirable
