About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Dietitian to join our team at the NHS. As a Paediatric Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic dietary advice to paediatric patients with nutrition-related diseases, their carers, and other health professionals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based dietetic advice to paediatric patients and their families.
  • Work closely with the Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetic Service team to ensure a seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, families, and carers to promote healthy eating habits and nutrition education.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, guidelines, and protocols related to paediatric nutrition and dietetics.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans for paediatric patients.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Dietitian.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Paediatric Dietetics or a related field.
  • Experience of working with children and families in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
