About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust. As a Senior Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement medicines optimisation strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide expert clinical pharmacy advice to healthcare professionals and patients
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of clinical pharmacy services, including ward-based activities and specialist rotations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and safety
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience
  • Substantial clinical pharmacy experience, including experience in orthopaedic care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
