Job Title: Aviation Security Cargo Screener

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Aviation Security Cargo Screener to join our team at UPS. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our air cargo network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security screenings of packages and cargo to prevent and mitigate potential threats
  • Operate and maintain various screening technologies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in daily equipment inspections and escalate quality and process issues to supervisors as needed
  • Monitor work areas and promote a positive security culture
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

Requirements:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Professional interest in safety and security
  • Ability to pass security checks, including background and criminal records checks
  • Ability to pass an eye test, including color-blindness test
  • Good judgment, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Diligence and attention to detail
