Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Stirling Warrington, a leading supplier of materials in the UK. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the company's financial health.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including supporting reconciliations, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Financial Control: Monitor and review control accounts reconciliations on a rolling basis to aid year-end financial reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including sales and purchase ledgers, to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts, including the provision and assistance of the annual audit.
  • Team Management: Complete monthly 1-2-1's and annual Performance Development Reviews with the team to ensure their development and growth.


Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Fully qualified ACCA / AAT / CIMA.
  • Experience: Proven experience in management of an accounts team/department.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel and reporting, with knowledge of Access Dimensions preferred but not essential.
  • Experience: Experience of payroll and daily, weekly, monthly and annual accounting.
