About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as a Technical Infrastructure Engineer. As a key member of our infrastructure and digital teams, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT systems.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for PC/printer hardware/software installation and troubleshooting
  • Designing and implementing server virtualization solutions using VMware/Nutanix/Rubrik
  • Configuring and maintaining Windows Operating Systems - client and server
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems and data
  • Collaborating with the wider infrastructure and digital teams to deliver IT projects and services

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid driving license to drive in the UK
  • Own vehicle suitable for movement of equipment
  • Degree level or equivalent experience and evidenced continuous development
  • ECDL, CLAIT, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or Microsoft MCP Yes Certification/application
  • Demonstrable specialist knowledge of, and experience in: Windows Server based computers Server Virtualisation/VMWare/Nutanix/Rubrik

Desirable Criteria

The following qualifications and experience are desirable:

  • MCP 3 or more modules / MCSE / MCSA / MCTS Cisco Networking certification e.g. CCNA
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced IT environment
