Job Title: Project Manager - Portfolio Delivery

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Morson Talent. As a Project Manager - Portfolio Delivery, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects across various locations, ensuring successful pre and post contract management, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of projects from initial enquiry to post-investment appraisal, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with UK Power Networks Services governance and control processes, as well as CDM regulations.
  • Produce accurate forecasts and reports, meeting key programme milestones and interfacing with client and UKPN Services teams.
  • Manage workload, prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously, and taking full responsibility for project success and quality.
Requirements:
  • PRINCE2 or APM (PMQ) certification.
  • Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC or similar) or equivalent experience in electrical distribution infrastructure construction.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Experience with Primavera planning package (desirable).
  • Previous experience on TFL or Network Rail projects (desirable).
  • NEBOSH Certificate in construction (desirable).
  • IOSH Putting People to Work (desirable).
  • Ability to achieve project-related Security Clearance.
  • Full UK driving license.

  • Willingness to challenge and be different rather than accepting the status quo.
