Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Medicine Specialist to join our team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a 10PA post in the respiratory service to cover the 12-month maternity leave of an existing consultant.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in outpatient clinics and inpatient settings
  • Participate in service development and improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with consultant colleagues to run the department and provide clinical leadership
  • Communicate effectively with local practitioners and support nursing and other AHP members of the team
Requirements
  • CCT or equivalent in Respiratory Medicine, or within 6 months of obtaining this
  • Wide range of experience in all aspects of respiratory and general medicine
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work effectively in multi-professional teams
  • Commitment to working cooperatively and collaboratively with other health professionals and organisations
