Fundraising Officer

Meningitis Now is seeking a skilled Fundraising Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of our community and events fundraising programme.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement successful marketing plans using a range of communication channels to engage with our supporters and drive fundraising efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our supporters, stakeholders, and partners to achieve ambitious fundraising goals.
- Manage and deliver community and events fundraising projects, including event planning, budgeting, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with our team to achieve our fundraising targets and contribute to the overall success of our organisation.
- Professional fundraising, marketing, or sales experience, preferably within a charity or non-profit organisation.
- Event and/or project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful events and projects.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with confidence and fluency.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
