About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Officer to join our team at Meningitis Now. As a Fundraising Officer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our mission to transform the lives of those affected by meningitis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement fundraising plans to meet or exceed annual targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community groups
  • Plan and deliver community fundraising events and campaigns
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fundraising activities and events
  • Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, making recommendations for improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fundraising, preferably in a charity or non-profit setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices
