Lead Technical Accounting Specialist

Join our team of experts in SaaS Technical Accounting

As a Lead Technical Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in providing expert guidance on complex and judgemental financial transactions. You will collaborate closely with Regional Finance teams and other business functions to ensure accurate and consistent accounting treatment.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure consistent application of accounting standards across the Group.
  • Interact with external auditors on the interpretation and accounting treatment of complex accounting matters, articulating the Group's interpretation and providing supporting evidence.
  • Proactively engage with the business to interpret and address the accounting implications of M&A activity, complex arrangements, and non-routine transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional finance teams and other business functions to provide timely and accurate technical accounting guidance.
  • Prepare and review technical accounting papers documenting conclusions on complex accounting matters, ensuring accurate interpretation of accounting standards and associated guidance.
