Job Description

The post holder is required to have an in-depth knowledge of the PAS system functionality and extensive knowledge and experience with operational procedures and protocols within the Trust. They must be able to work with the minimum of supervision in an organised, efficient, and effective manner to maximise the effective use of both their own time and that of system users.

The post holder will work conjunctively within the Corporate Operational structure and have close working relationships with Patient Access, Medical Records, and Divisional operational teams. The role will sit directly in the Patient Access Structure, and the post holder will have a breadth of knowledge and experience to support the operational teams with PAS changes and creations to assist the operational flow of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create, Amend, Cancel, and Delete Clinic Templates
  2. Create, Amend, and Upload Letter Templates
  3. Maintain PAS System and Information Reference Files
  4. Test New Software Releases
  5. Deal with Complex Enquiries
  6. Undertake Data Quality Audits
  7. Produce and Analyse Reports
  8. Update Patient Details and Remove Activity

The ideal candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also have a strong understanding of IT systems and processes, and be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
