Exciting Opportunity for a Consultant in Palliative Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant in Palliative Medicine to join our medical team at St. Peter's Hospice. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality palliative care to patients and families in the wider Bristol area.

The post holder will work alongside our senior medical team of 4 consultants and multi-professional team members to deliver exceptional care. They will have the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise in palliative medicine and contribute to the development of our palliative care services.

As a Consultant in Palliative Medicine, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership and expertise to our team. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients and families, and contribute to the development of our palliative care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical leadership and expertise to our team
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients and families
  • Contribute to the development of our palliative care services
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Registration with the General Medical Council
  • Experience in palliative medicine
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
