About the RoleWe are seeking a Support Practitioner to join our Strathbungo Housing Support Service team. As a Support Practitioner, you will work on a 1:1 basis with individuals who require support with day-to-day living, assisting them with personal care, housework, administering medication, meal preparation, and support with finances.
You will also be responsible for liaising with families and other professionals to provide the best quality care, promoting independence and individuality according to the Support Plan, and recording daily tasks and maintaining accurate records.
The ideal candidate will have good team-working skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively and use their own initiative. They will also be able to prioritize and manage workloads, be eager to develop, and have a genuine passion for caring for others.

About the ServiceOur Strathbungo Service provides round-the-clock support every day of the year. Shifts include a mix of early shifts (07:45-14:45) and late shifts (14:45-21:45) with a requirement for some weekend work.
The people we support are sociable and always up for fun. They enjoy local walks, shopping sprees, and movie nights at the cinema. Tuesday nights are a highlight at their favourite disco club, where they meet friends and dance the night away.
