Product Manager - Biotech Division

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our biotech division at our Morecambe Head Office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of biotech products, ensuring they align with market needs, scientific advancements, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with scientific trends, customer demands, and the company's growth objectives in the biotech sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, regulatory, marketing, and sales) to drive the development and successful launch of new biotech products.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including competitor research, scientific trends, and customer feedback, to identify new opportunities and areas for product development.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of biotech products, from initial concept through development, market launch, and ongoing management.
  • Ensure all products meet the necessary regulatory standards and compliance requirements within the biotech sector, working closely with regulatory teams.
  • Track and analyse product performance post-launch, utilising sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to drive continuous product improvements.
  • Provide technical product training and technical support to the sales team and external partners, ensuring they understand the technical specifications and market positioning of the products.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in biotech, including new technologies, research breakthroughs, and regulatory changes, and integrate them into product planning.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of products from development through to commercialisation.
  • Ability to analyse complex scientific data and market trends to make informed product decisions.
  • Strong financial and commercial understanding, with experience in developing pricing strategies and ensuring product profitability.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams to deliver on-time and within budget.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the biotech sector, with experience working alongside regulatory teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple products and projects simultaneously.
