Job Summary

Magnus James is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Trainee Lettings Negotiator to join their team in Sheffield. As a Trainee Lettings Negotiator, you will play a key role in helping to build the brand in the local marketplace and providing exceptional customer service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with telephone and face-to-face enquiries, providing high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Carrying out viewings and obtaining feedback from clients.
  • Negotiating new tenancies with landlords and tenants, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Preparing tenancy agreements, issuing legal documents relating to the tenancy, and ensuring that all safety certificates are in place prior to move-in.
  • Working with the property management team to ensure that properties are prepared for move-in and that tenants are satisfied with their new homes.
  • Ensuring a smooth handover of keys and that tenants are aware of their responsibilities and obligations.
  • Conducting regular inspections to ensure that properties are being maintained to a high standard.
  • Performing ad-hoc property manager duties as required.

Requirements

  • Experience within a similar Lettings Negotiator role is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Sales or customer service experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience of using Microsoft Office packages is required.
  • You must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.

  • A basic salary of £24k depending on experience, plus commission.
