About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Home Manager to lead our team in providing high-quality care and support to young people with autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality care, support, and accommodation to individuals with autism.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to address them.
  • Compile reports to support quality assurance and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Provide guidance, knowledge, and experience to staff, supporting their development and identifying areas for strengthening.
  • Oversee and supervise residential staff, ensuring they are appropriately trained and supported.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Residential and Registered Inspector to reflect the quality of the service provided during inspections.
Requirements
  • Significant operational experience in a care environment, working with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and be a team player with experience in support work in both educational and residential settings.
  • Ensure the effective operation of small care homes for young people with autism.
  • Have a high level of personal resilience and emotional and social intelligence.
  • Hold a relevant qualification, such as a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, and have experience as a Home Manager, Service Manager, or Registered Inspector in adult residential services.
