Registered Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our care home team in providing exceptional support and care to young people with autism.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the provision of high-quality care, support, and accommodation to residents.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to address them.
- Complete regular quality of care reports and submit them to the business manager/directors.
- Compile reports to support with individual visits to the service, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Audit care-related documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide guidance, knowledge, and experience to the care team, supporting their development and growth.
- Oversee HR-related issues and participate in Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) inspections.
- Update and maintain company policies and procedures, ensuring they are followed by employees.
- Significant operational experience in a care environment, working with all levels of staff and management.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and be a team player with experience in support work in both educational and residential settings.
- Ensure the effective operation of two or more small care homes for young people.
- Have a high level of personal resilience and emotional and social intelligence.
- Oversee and supervise the residential staff within a minimum of two care homes, ensuring they are appropriately trained and supported.
- Ensure all activities within the households are carried out in compliance with regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Residential and R.I to reflect the quality of the service provided during CIW inspections.
- Ideally, have a relevant qualification to allow for approval as a registered manager with CIW and Social Care Wales.
