This role focuses on Indirect and Tech categories, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the business through strategic mindset and passion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with suppliers to build strong relationships and manage the end-to-end execution of the sourcing process.
- Execute commercial and sourcing strategies for assigned categories or subcategories.
- Collaborate with Procurement Managers to develop complex commercial strategies and provide analytical and research support.
- Conduct sourcing activities such as supplier appraisal and selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Manage key suppliers, ensuring effective partner relationships and successful contract transitions.
Requirements:
- Experience as a procurement professional with a strong understanding of procurement principles and techniques.
- Deep knowledge of the specific category or subcategories, including awareness of external supply markets, emerging trends, and potential risks.
- Expertise in negotiating with third parties and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong communication skills, commercial acumen, and ability to build successful relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience of negotiating with 3rd parties, with a basic legal knowledge and some experience of contract negotiation.
