Job Title:

Procurement Category Manager - Indirect

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager - Indirect to join our team at Pod Talent. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of suppliers within the Tech category and potentially managing one to three Category Buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic role involving managing a portfolio of suppliers with the Tech category and potentially managing one to three Category Buyers.
  2. Supports the definition of the category and sourcing strategy that delivers on short- and long-term goals of the 6 BMUs.
  3. Owns the regional 'Spend Smarter' for tech and supports the Category Leader in the definition and implementation of long-term category strategy.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 5+ years of Procurement or Supply Chain experience, with 2+ years in a Category Manager equivalent role preferably in retail, food service, or FMCG.
  2. Exposure to tech is preferred, however this is not essential as long as the candidate can demonstrate devising and executing category strategy within any area of indirect procurement.
