We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Reed. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in maximising cash collection and reducing aged debt, while supporting the business by managing credit limits and being aware of the risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage all accounts daily to ensure timely collections and accurate reconciliation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to set credit terms and ensure collections are in line with company requirements.
  • Proactively chase debt and escalate issues as necessary to ensure cash flow is maintained.
  • Allocate cash in a timely and accurate manner to meet business needs.
  • Provide day-to-day administration support, including statements and copy invoices.
  • Identify and implement solutions to operational issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in credit control, with a strong understanding of cash flow management and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
