Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Reed. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in maximising cash collection and reducing aged debt, while supporting the business by managing credit limits and being aware of the risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage all accounts daily to ensure timely collections and accurate reconciliation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to set credit terms and ensure collections are in line with company requirements.
- Proactively chase debt and escalate issues as necessary to ensure cash flow is maintained.
- Allocate cash in a timely and accurate manner to meet business needs.
- Provide day-to-day administration support, including statements and copy invoices.
- Identify and implement solutions to operational issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in credit control, with a strong understanding of cash flow management and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
