Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Casual Tramper Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution Careers. As a Casual Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering customers' products on a curtain-sided trailer, ensuring load security using ratchet straps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver loads throughout the UK, including full and groupage loads, using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.
  • Interact with customers face-to-face and over the phone, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain regular contact with the transport team to update on progress and manage customer expectations.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Occasionally travel to a different depot, with expenses covered.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Be available to work on an ad-hoc basis, as and when required.
