About the Role:

The Domiciliary Care Coordinator will play a crucial role in the success of our client's domiciliary care agency. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating the careworkers who provide thousands of hours of care per week to older and disabled individuals in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage rotas and allocate hours to careworkers
  • Liaise with social services and next-of-kin of service users
  • Participate in the paid on-call rota
  • Use IT systems to coordinate careworker schedules and hours

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in domiciliary care coordinating
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken)
  • Exceptional telephone manner
  • Intermediate level or above Microsoft Office skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player and a joy to work with
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proactive approach
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and take direction
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability
