We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buyer to join our Head Office team in Carlisle, Cumbria.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement product ranges and presentation in line with agreed product strategy, brand, and store values.
- Utilize historic data and trends to plan and implement product strategy for areas in conjunction with the Merchandiser to meet sales and margin objectives.
- Work with the Sourcing Manager to develop and implement the plan for intake margin growth, ensuring security of supply and risk assessment.
- Drive the front-end product development strategy and implementation, ensuring progress of sampling, fabric, and pricing in line with required dates.
- Collaborate with Design, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing to ensure effective planning and implementation of window strategy, visuals, photography, range manuals, and layout guidelines.
- Continuously review product performance and trends to maximize sales and margin on season and forward, and take appropriate action.
- Support and coach line reports, ensuring they have a structured training and development plan.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Buyer in clothing.
- Womenswear clothing experience.
