Senior Fire Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our fire protection projects from conception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage fire protection projects from initiation to handover, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
- Attend internal project Cost To Complete (CTC) meetings and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit all end-of-project documentation, including O&M manuals, As-Fitted Drawings, and Certification.
- Ensure installers are adequately briefed, competent, and qualified to fulfill project requirements.
- Support and manage on-site resources, resolving issues and maintaining project programmes.
- Complete and submit project Quality Plans as required.
- Participate in internal and third-party audits, identifying and resolving supplier-generated non-conformities.
- Manage material and labour costs, identifying and invoicing variations to contract and raising final accounts.
- Undertake and record on-site inspections in accordance with EHS001 scheduled frequency.
- Facilitate on-site toolbox talks and complete all H&S-related documentation, including RAMs and attendance sheets.
- Working knowledge of BS EN 12845 and LPS1048 Schemes.
- Working knowledge of engineering drawings.
- LPCB Testing & Commissioning Module 2 Competent (highly desirable).
- LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 Competent (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with the principles of Prince 2 project management methodologies.
- Experience in managing complex projects with budgets up to £5m.
- Practiced at managing on-site labour and resources.
- Valid SMSTS and CSCS Card Holder.
- Knowledge of CDM Management Principles.
- Extensive knowledge of producing project documentation, including RAMs, Quality Plans, Project Plans, Cost Sheets (CTC), and Trackers.
- Competitive salary and negotiable depending on experience.
- £5,100 per annum cash for cars allowance or option of company car.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and option to buy 5 days and sell 2 days.

- 36.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8.45-16.40, Friday 8.45-16.00).
