Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Autism Support Worker to join our team at a thriving primary school in the Huddersfield area. This forward-thinking institution prioritizes individualized learning approaches to cater to the unique needs of every student.
Your Role:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with autism, assisting them with their academic and social development.
- Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors effectively and create a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to small group activities and interventions designed to enhance the learning experience for all students.
Essential Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident with at least three months of residency.
- A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (SEND), particularly those with autism.
