Role: Senior Staff Nurse
Work Arrangement: In-person
Employment Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary Range: £45,195 - £50,395 annually, depending on experience
Reference Code: Permanent - Senior Nurse
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical leadership on a daily basis, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
- Support the assessment, admission, and discharge planning processes in collaboration with the service user's care team.
- Foster effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
- Encourage staff to provide high-quality, individualized care.
- Promote a culture of learning and reflective practice within the unit.
- Ensure compliance with care standards, including effective risk management protocols.
- Supervise staff in recognizing potential risks to service users, including harm, abuse, neglect, and inadequate clinical practices.
- Participate in the recruitment, retention, and mentorship of staff and students.
- Support staff well-being and address any signs of stress or health issues.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to NMC and organizational standards regarding medication and documentation.
- Oversee risk assessments, audit procedures, and the safe operation of medical equipment.
- Collaborate with other units to streamline care pathways and service delivery.
- Provide direct care for service users with complex needs and exemplify appropriate clinical behaviors.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a neurobehavioral environment as RMN/RNLD/RGN.
- Registered with a UK NMC pin and free of convictions.
- Completed Level 3 safeguarding training.
