About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at The Spinney, a service providing care for male patients with personality disorder and/or mental illness.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitors' areas. You will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures.
  • Be an active member of the team, contributing to the day-to-day operation and maintaining excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with staff, visitors, and service users.
  • Help create a positive culture and undertake any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
  • Attend mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment.
  • Enjoy cleaning and take pride in a job well done.
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities effectively.
  • Be a good communicator and have good attention to detail.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
